Solutions
AlgaFil™ uses CO₂ captured from ethanol fermentation to grow Tribonema sp, a filamentous microalga naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Unlike traditional omega-3 sources, Tribonema sp can be sustainably cultivated and added directly to chicken feed. This supplement supports overall poultry health, with particular benefits for bone strength and immune function. Moreover, the distillers grain produced by fermentation plants is already used as livestock feed, allowing the algae to be mixed in at the source to reduce transport and production costs. By closing the carbon loop and improving animal nutrition, AlgaFil™ offers a practical, science-driven approach to more sustainable and healthy poultry farming.
